We have just finished installing a web camera that allows visitors to log on and watch the flight deck operations live. This will shortly be upgraded to a high definition camera complete with sound and a chat box so you can make comments to us.
Following a major refit, the cockpit annunciators on the main instrument panel are now slowly being connected. A tedious but rewarding job!

NERVOUS FLYER?
There are many people out there that are terrified of flying and so much so, that they will go to any lengths to avoid a holiday where a flight is involved.
This is borne out of two main fears:
- Loss of control. You have to relinquish control to an unknown person
- Lack of knowledge. No understanding of why certain things happen on an aircraft
This course will dispel all your fears and give you the confidence to take your first flight without fear or intrepidation. This very informal course really works!
Remember, this simulator is on a fixed base, and it can be stopped at any time.
Course content:
- We discuss your fears and concerns and address these (including the "old wives tales")
- A brief explanation of the flight deck, it's controls, instruments and safety standards
- A short flight of approximately one hour in which we will fly over water.
- Here you will learn to understand why the aircraft performs certain manouvres and speed changes
- See the take off, cruise and landing in the safety of the simulator cockpit.
We have had numerous people complete this course, that have left with a newly found confidence to take their first flight without fear. Some told us they were actually looking forward to flying!
Book with us now, relax and enjoy the experience! You may have someone accompany you should you so wish. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
